The star of the show, both literally and figuratively, was Florence Pugh. Opening Harris Reed’s presentation at Tate Britain, she delivered a stirring monologue in a sheer black hooded gown while surrounded by haunting live cello music. The performance blurred the lines between runway and theatre, a perfect representation of Reed’s vision of fluid fashion and drama.

• Paul Costelloe’s Homage to Equestrian Britain

Paul Costelloe once again grounded his work in a distinctly British aesthetic, presenting structured jodhpur-inspired trousers, sculptural jackets, and full skirts in a moody, autumnal palette. Held at the Waldorf Hilton, the collection exuded timeless elegance while nodding to countryside glamour.

• Burberry at Tate Britain

With Daniel Lee at the helm, Burberry's closing show delivered a masterclass in reinvented heritage.
